Wirral Investment Network Business Awards 2009
The prestigious WiN Business Awards celebrated the very best of the areas most ambitious and successful businesses on Friday 17th July 2009. The awards ceremony was sponsored by Egerton House Wirral Ltd, Lees Lloyd Whitley and The Mersey Partnership.
The 2009 awards was hosted by Roger Philips of BBC Radio Merseyside at Birkenhead School, Oxton where over 300 of Wirral’s companies and business leaders gathered to enjoy a sparkling event. Hon. Vice President of WiN, Lord Harrison of Chester, and the Mayor of Wirral, Councillor Andrew Hodson made speeches which highlighted the importance of the awards and the continued success and innovation of Wirral’s businesses.

- Excellence in Training & Skills Development – Roy Hankinson Group
- Highly Commended – Leverhulme Hotel and Spa
The awards were presented to the winners by the individual award sponsors - Peel Holdings, Lees Lloyd Whitley, Wirral Council, Unilever, The Contact Company, T-Systems, Cull Micro Imaging, Groundwork Merseyside, Wirral Metropolitan College ICE, Smith and Sons and WirralBiz.
