Liverpool Law Society is delighted to be crossing the Mersey from its offices in Liverpool city centre to hold a rolling accredited CPD Programme and Legal Exhibition for legal practitioners and those connected to the law at the new Floral Pavilion Conference Centre in New Brighton, Wirral, on Thursday, 17th September 2009.

Norman Jones, Joint Honorary Secretary of Liverpool Law Society and Chair of the Wirral Project Sub Committee comments: “This is one of the most exciting events that the Liverpool Law Society has organised for years. Liverpool Law Society has organised a choice of three topical seminars all containing essential skills and knowledge for the busy professional: Merging Law Firms – the essentials for success; The Power of Networking and How to Present Yourself and Your Firm which will be of interest to the local legal and wider professional community. Peter Scott, Managing Partner of Eversheds’ London and European offices will talk about how to plan and negotiate mergers. Alistair Macdonald, award-winning BBC TV reporter and producer, teaches directors, partners and senior managers how to connect with contacts at business events. Jane Cheater, well known broadcast journalist will hold a seminar on the importance of understanding your local media, and why it is so difficult to portray a positive image.
